Summary:
Oversee overall tasking and CDRL submission on program.
Responsible for hiring and updating personnel actions.
Attends monthly meetings and bi-annual program reviews.
Brief the technical managers and COR in the program office on financial health of program.
Directly manage Lead financial manager, Logistics Manager and Senior Engineer.
Responsible for overall program success.
Brief leadership and respond to COR in a timely manner for accurate COR reporting.
Job Duties:
Manage large team in delivering a broad range of Lifecycle support to include - Program/Project Management, Engineering, Financial Management and Case Development to eligible Foreign Navies.
Services include acquisition, operation, upgrade, modification, modernization, and maintenance of naval vessels within their inventory.
Assist government client with day-to-day management of Security Assistance programs and assigned FMS casesProvide guidance and direction for specific projects or sub-tasks.
Manage multitask projects of high complexity.
Interface with the client and stakeholders on project specific issues and obectives.
Direct the completion of projects within estimated time frames and budget constraints.
Coordinate project-specific engagements and review work products for completeness and adherence to customer requirements.
Gather data, conduct analyses and develop reports on a recurring basis to communicate program/project cost, schedule and technical performance.
Deliver presentations and leads client meetings.
Mandatory Skill Requirements (must have):
Twenty (20) years of increasing engineering management responsibilityMinimum of five (5) years of naval shipbuilding or overhaul experienceWorking knowledge of DoD and DoD Security Assistance, International Cooperative and FMS ProgramsForeign Military Sales (FMS) experienceStrong program/project management skill setsExceptional written and oral communication skillsDesired Skill Requirements:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)Education/Equivalent:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Business or Financial Management OR Bachelor's degree (any major) and five (5) years of experience serving aboard a surface combatant vesselTravel Required:
